TTAC

mHealth – Tested Devices

We at the TTAC brought nine different mobile platforms to our lab to test as a part of this toolkit.  The devices included four smart phones and five tablets, each representing the state-of-the art for their respective manufacturers.  The devices were selected to showcase a pool of various processor speeds and configurations.  As the market is immense, we could only test a representative sampling.  This market is rapidly changing, and devices that are cutting edge as of this toolkit’s writing in August 2012 will be quickly replaced by devices with new sizes, speeds, and operating systems.

The following table shows the devices that we tested, and some of the specifications relevant to mobile videoconferencing.
