AMD Global Telemedicine provides video, audio and asynchronous telemedicine services using their own Connect N’ Care platform. This product uses WebRTC Standards based video and audio protocols and requires standard Wi-Fi, or 4G or LTE connections in order to provide the best experience. The AMD Global Telemedicine provider model supports the use of a supplied provider panel, the use of the consumer’s provider panel, or a hybrid of both the consumer and their panel of providers. Reimbursement for clinical services provided includes CMS, Medicaid, Private Insurance and other payers. AMD Global Telemedicine provides some cost information viewable in our vendor summary, and states additional costs are available upon request.

Describe Ease of use for providers:
Patients connect over an app or web browser that walks the patient through an evidenced based questionnaire based on the patient’s chief complaint. The resulting report is sent to a group of providers to review and call the patient back over video or audio. After connecting to the patient, the provider can diagnose and treat and if necessary prescribe using built in ePrescription software. The provider can also send educational material in ten different languages to the patient.
