Amwell provides video, audio and asynchronous telemedicine services using their own Amwell platform. This product uses multiple redundant video platforms, and Twillo as the main audio platform, among others, and requires standard Wi-Fi, or 4G connections in order to provide the best experience. The Amwell provider model supports the use of a supplied provider panel, the use of the consumer’s provider panel, or a hybrid of both the consumer and their panel of providers. Reimbursement for clinical services provided includes CMS, Medicaid, and Private Insurance. Amwell does not provide any general cost information and states that cost information is available upon request.

Yes. In most use cases, providers use our telehealth either via their EHR or through connected devices (apps, browsers etc). Can also be used in Acute Care, where we provide dedicated carts/peripherals appropriate for mission critical use.
