The TTAC purchased nine of the most current hardware platforms from the mobile market (as of August 2012), including five tablets and four smart phones. These devices were evaluated in the context of mobile videoconferencing platforms, with additional observations made about the general experience of using the devices. The following section discusses the devices tested, the test plan, and the testing results.
